When is Lincoln Christmas Market 2021 and where is parking available?

The highlight of the holiday season will soon be upon us with the return of the Lincoln Christmas Market in 2021.

Last year’s Christmas market was canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but, if government guidelines allow, it will return in 2021.

With over 200 stalls each year, it’s worth a visit for some unique festive products.

It might only be mid-October, but it’s never too early to plan your trip to the Christmas market, so take a look below for when the market opens and where where you need to park.

When is the Lincoln Christmas Market 2021?

The Lincoln Christmas Market runs from Thursday, December 2 to Sunday, December 5.

The opening hours of the market are as follows:

  • Thursday December 2 – 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Friday December 3 – 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday December 4 – 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Sunday December 5 – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Where should I park for the Lincoln Christmas Market 2021?

There will be no parking near the Christmas Market.

Lincoln City Council advises people traveling by car to use the Christmas Park and Ride service.

It will operate from the Lincolnshire Showground and can be found on Sat Nav by entering postcode LN1 2ZF.

Buses will then drop visitors off at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life.

If you want to pre-book your relay parking space, you can do so later in the year for £ 12.

If you choose to pay on the day for parking, you will be charged as follows per car:

  • Thursday – £ 13
  • Friday – £ 14
  • Saturday – £ 15
  • Sunday – £ 14

You will find the opening hours of the Christmas Park and Ride below. Early hour is when the bus first leaves the Lincolnshire Showground and late hour is the last time the bus will pick you up from the Museum of Lincolnshire Life.

  • Thursday December 2 – 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday December 3 – 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday December 4 – 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday December 5 – 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
